FAQ's
I'm new to all this - is it for me?
Possibly the best time to come is when you don't quite know why you're drawn but something in you is. Many of the women who have found the most in these circles arrived not knowing what they were looking for — only that something was calling.
You don't need experience of meditation, spirituality, or any particular practice. You don't need to have done therapy or know your Human Design or understand what a sound bath is. You just need to be willing to show up and see what's here.
The circle meets you where you are — whether that's curious, confused, exhausted, quietly searching, or simply ready for something different without knowing what that something is.
The women in our circles range from those completely new to inner work to those with decades of practice behind them. What we have found, consistently, is that the circle levels something. Everyone brings medicine. Everyone receives it.
We are all women, just trying to make the best of what is here now.
If something in you is leaning toward yes — that's enough.#
Do I need to have spiritual beliefs to attend?
No. Women come to our circles from all kinds of backgrounds — some with active spiritual lives, some who have left a religion and are finding their own way, some with no particular beliefs at all, and some simply wanting to understand themselves better. What we presence is direct experience — your own, in your own body, on your own terms. No belief system is required.
What actually happens in a circle?
Each circle has its own flavour but follows a typical flow. We begin by grounding — a meditation to peel away the day and land in the body. Each woman has space to share where she is. We then explore a theme together through various circle technologies: breath, movement, drumming, enquiry, journalling, sound, art and energy practices. We close with intention and integration. There is never any pressure to share or participate. We encourage women to drop from the agenda-driven mind into intuition and somatic experience — to let the dream unfold rather than controlling it.
Do we sit on the floor? What if I have mobility or physical limitations?
We sit on chairs. Any movement that arises in circle is always self-guided — led by your own body, at your own pace and capacity. You will never be asked to do anything physically demanding or beyond your comfort. If you have specific access needs, please reach out to us before attending and we will do our best to ensure the space works for you.
Do you welcome neurodivergent women?
Warmly, yes. We find that many women in our circle are also on a journey of deeply understanding their own neuroscape — whether they are exploring, have self-identified, or have a formal assessment. You are welcome at whatever stage of that journey you are at. We also find that the structure of our circles — conversation held within a clear, guided container, with defined moments for speaking and listening — can be genuinely relieving for many neurodivergent women. There is no pressure to navigate open-ended social uncertainty. The circle holds the shape so you don't have to.
Do you follow a particular spiritual tradition?
While we draw on many practices such as non-dual inquiry, shamanic practice, eastern esoteric practices, rose mysteries, somatic, breath and energy work. We are not initiates claiming lineage. We are women committed to direct experience and to understanding our intimate relationship with the mystery. We describe the path we walk as the pathless path. It is a path because there is movement, devotion, practice and transformation. It is pathless because the deeper truth is not reached by following someone else's fixed formula — it reveals itself through direct contact with life, through listening, through dream, through the body, through love, through the mystery itself. We often see this work as a spiral. With continued practice, those who commit frequently find themselves freeing from blockers that open new doors — in their personal lives, their careers and relationships, or in the deepening of their own spiritual enquiry. Each turn of the spiral reveals something that wasn't visible before.
On cultural appropriation
Life force, consciousness, dream and mystery may be universal aspects of human experience, but the traditions, ceremonies, symbols and teachings through which people have explored them come from particular cultures, histories and lineages. They deserve respect. Our circle draws inspiration from many sources, including non-dual inquiry, shamanic traditions, somatic practices, seasonal wisdom and contemplative teachings. We do not claim lineage, authority or ownership within these traditions. Instead, we approach them with humility, gratitude and a willingness to learn.
At the same time, we hold direct experience as primary. Traditions can offer valuable maps, techniques and practices, but no map can replace our own lived encounter with life. What matters most is not adopting someone else's beliefs, but deepening our capacity to listen — to ourselves, to one another, and to the mystery that moves through all things.
Many of us feel the loss of our own ancestral and land-based traditions. Part of our work is to explore what it means to root spiritual practice in this place, in this time, and in our own direct experience.
We welcome women who follow particular paths and traditions, and we are grateful for the wisdom they bring to the circle as fellow travellers. Our intention is to create a space of curiosity, respect and shared exploration.
Do you welcome trans women?
Our circles are held as women's space — for those who live and move through the world as women, across the full spectrum that involves. We welcome trans women to reach out to us directly before attending for the first time. We believe every woman deserves to arrive in a space that is truly ready to hold her. We are committed to that conversation being warm and genuine; directed by the underlying intention.
It is worth noting that our circles naturally move toward the experiences of having a womb — menstrual cycles, mothering, miscarriage, pregnancy. These are often deeply sensitive subjects for women, and having space to share these experiences fully and freely is an important part of what we hold. We want every woman in the circle to feel that space is genuinely available to her.
Can I bring my children?
We understand that for many women finding time and space to reconnect within can be a real challenge. Even more so for single mothers. However, to offer the space so needed, at this time our circles are adult-only spaces — children are not able to attend our regular sessions. We do occasionally organise sessions that include children, and with time we would love this to grow into something more regularly offered. Watch this space.
How do I join?
Simply reach out via our contact page or find us on Facebook. There is no formal membership — just a willingness to show up and be met. We find that the more women come, the more they gain and grow.
What is the cost?
We try our best to keep the circles affordable and offer bundle prices for those who commit to coming regularly. The women who facilitate and hold these circles do so alongside their normal jobs and family lives — out of genuine love for this work and for the community it creates. We are grateful for every contribution that helps sustain it. Please see the event details for individual prices.
